Ride of Respect 2021

In 2010, over 20,000 bikers gathered in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, England to honor the fallen, support the injured and their families, and raise funds for military charities.

This event was a heartfelt thank you to the town’s residents, who had shown silent respect during every repatriation.

When the call for the first mass ride, “The Mother’s Day Ride,” went out, it resonated deeply with Britain’s bikers and veterans. Thousands participated in a solemn motorcycle procession, paying tribute to service personnel and their families while supporting various military charities.

This gathering became known as “The Ride of Respect” and is now an annual tradition in the UK and NZ.

Roof It is a proud supporter and sponsor of this year’s Ride of Respect to honour and support Veterans the NZRSA. We wish that other businesses step forward to help support this worthwhile event. Lest we forget, Anzac Day every year.
